Parent Hours and Events

Welcome to the ILP parent community! Below you will find some suggestions on how to fullfill your ten  parent hours. These hours can be completed by any family member over the age of 18. You must complete a Parent Hours form and turn it in to the ILP Office for us to record your volunteer hours. The only exception to this is attendance at ILP Meetings when you complete the sign-in sheet.

Up to 6 of your 10 hours may be contributed through donations. Donations are calculated at a rate of $15.00 per hour for the first 4 hours and $30 dollars per hour for the second 2. You may either pay directly for your hours, donate items needed for class supplies, or a combination of the two (ILP Donations Wish List). Attach your receipt to your monthly tally sheet and you will be credited 1 hour per $15/$30 spent.

Donations ($15 = 1 hour please attach receipts to parent hours form):

Copy paper (white and color)

Posterboards, display boards for the student store.

Cases of water (16 oz. bottles)

Tissues

Purchase food for the All Stars Lunch on 10/20, 1/12 & 3/22 (call Mrs. Igel for details)
 - sign up sheets will be posted at the ILP front desk

“Still have parent hours to do? Consider making a donation of supplies to the Library Media Center today – your donation will go toward your parent hours and will make a huge impact for students. Indeed, if paper and ink continue to be used as they have been, we will be forced to initiate a printing fee to keep up with the demand.

The items we need most are: paper (white and bright colors, 8 ½” x 11”) and HP LaserJet 53A Toner; however, we welcome donations of other supplies. Please email Mrs. Prettol, our librarian (eouvrard-prettol@natomas.k12.ca.us), to advise her of your donation or for more information.
Book donations are still welcome and will count towards your parent hours! (new or gently used books, please).
You can check out our Amazon Wishlist as well. Thank you for your help!”

Saturday Night Bingo
Contact Mrs. Bariel to volunteer for the weekly Saturday night bingo game run by Sacramento Consolidated Charities.  The Bingo Hall is located on Florin Road and the game runs from 4:00-6:30 pm.  Not only does volunteering earn parents hours, but it also raises money for NCS-ILP.
