Hello and thank you for visiting my web page. Although this is my third year teaching at ILP this is my first year as Mrs. Pettler! As most of you know I got married this summer and I have a new last name. (If you slip and call me Ms. Hoffman I will most likely still respond as I haven't gotten quite used to the new name.)

This year I am looking forward to working with my new earth science and biology students, as well as the students I advise. I feel lucky to be a part of the ILP program for its family-like environment, great staff, and motivated students.

Prior to working at NCS I taught 7th grade science at a school in Concord, Ca. I learned a lot about myself as a teacher there and I hope my students now can benefit from that time.

Aside from working I enjoy CrossFit, yoga, cooking, playing with my dogs and reading a good book. I LOOK FORWARD TO A FABULOUS YEAR WITH YOU ALL. Please stop by and say hi!
